Impulse- the Awakening Page 3
—Well, you are the customer. But if I wanted to know something, I would whatever is needed as soon as possible and if I were in the right place, the most logical thing would be to move forward. — The receptionist kept a fixed gaze and had his pen resting on the diary to take his information.
—Okay, what can I lose? —Scott imagined that the only thing he could lose is his time and money.
—Come this way. Take a seat, the doctor is coming soon.
—Hi. Come in please. — As Scott entered, the doctor remained at the door and his assistant handed him a note before it closed.
—Hi, I'm Scott. Nice to meet you. I come to…
—To have a regression as my assistant informed me. And I'd like to ask you first what is it that you're looking for?
—A few months ago I had an accident, everything has been blurred in my mind since then, I have fragmented memories of a recurring dream and I have not been the same since it happened.
—I see. You said I had an accident, so I can deduce that it was something you really suffered.
—Yes.
—I see. Please remove all metal and lie down or sit comfortably on the couch. We will do a relaxation exercise and if you agree to record the audio of what happens, you will have to sign the form and include your email.
—Okay. - Scott was skeptical of the doctor, who was very rushed in his treatment, as if it were a routine procedure for him. This whole idea of a regression seemed now not so good idea. But mechanically, he signed the form and leaned back on the chair.
The consulting room seemed more like a makeshift room, there was no background music, one could hear the UFC fights in the room next door. It was not the most relaxing setting you could find in New York; it was definitely very different from Dr. Leonard's consulting room.
—All right. Let's start. Please close your eyes and imagine that you are in a beautiful garden, it is a garden that is very well known to you, you feel relaxed.
It is a sunny day with a nice breeze that wraps around your body.
You slowly turn your head to the right and you will see in the distance a staircase that descends to a place you know; you are not afraid of it.
Slowly you start to go down. Remember that you hear the sound of my voice at all times.
You can always listen and follow my voice.
Relax and keep going down10;
You feel calm and relaxed 9;
You start to feel your body heavy 8;
Your shoulders are relaxed 7;
Your breathing is slowing down 6;
The steps gradually fade away and you start to float 5;
You float to a darker place 4;
You are in a completely black void 3;
Suddenly you see a frame like a window and you approach 2;
You float in front of the fram, but there is no reflection and you will wait for my instructions in this place 1.
You are now completely relaxed.
Scott was so relaxed, there really was something magical in the hypnotist's voice that made him go into a dreamy state very easily.
Suddenly he realized that he didn't know the doctor's name, didn't know how much the consultation would cost, or how long the session would take, but he was abandoned in the experience, ready to get to the bottom of what was happening to him.
—Imagine any given day — the doctor continued —when everything was normal before the accident. That memory begins to materialize in the painting and you can see it.
—I'm with Sarah at the bar with, our friends Megan and Frank are with us. We are eating wings and listening to a Stand Up comedian. He is a very bad comedian, but the wings are delicious. —Scott smiled while visualizing that memory so clear. He was very skeptical of these things, but there was no doubt that he was having a vivid memory.
—See how the day goes by and notice that you can go forward or backward on that day at will. Pay attention to the details and you will see that you can magnify them as much as you want, the letters are readable, the scenes are visible whether there is sunlight or not. You control this environment.
—Yes. It is already night, I am alone with Sarah at home and we are making love. It is so beautiful.
—Let’s go to another day, this time we go to the day before the accident. Describe to me what is happening in the scene.
—I‘m collecting leaves from the entrance. I don't like doing it, but Sarah loves to lean out the window and greet me while I do it.
—Let’s go later, what happens at night?
—I see a thick white mist coming in through the window, and there is a very bright light and it hurts my eyes because it is already dark.
—Remember that you control the environment, the light does not hurt you. You can see clearly. What do you see?
—Sarah is asleep next to me and everything is moving in slow motion, some things in the room are floating. —He spoke in a very low voice with his hands clasped across his chest, and it was notorious that he struggled to see clearly.
—Look around you, on the floor, out the window, what else can you see?
—I see a strange silhouette approaching me. But I'm not afraid, I feel like I know him, I've already been with him, he's a male entity, he's very tall.
—Describe him. What is he like? Take your time, take a good look at him.
—His eyes are gray and his gaze is very deep. He is very tall, his skin is grayish-white, and his hair is long as an ashy gray. He does not walk, he floats, his mouth is small, he speaks to me without moving his lips. Everything he says resonates in my brain.
—What is he doing?
—He moves his hands slowly in front of me and everything around me disappears.
—Go a little further until you wake up that day.
—I wake up lying on a table of something like shiny ceramic and feeling dizzy. He is talking to me and he makes me laugh. Slowly I begin to incorporate. He takes me to a cabin. I know that cabin, I have seen it in my dreams.
—And what can you see out the window?
—I see the Earth. Oh God. It is an impressive sight. —Scott was impressed, but his tone of voice was very calm and low, due to the relaxed state he was in.
—What kind of earth can you see? —The hypnotist thought he was referring to the soil on the ground.
—I see planet Earth from space. I am inside a ship orbiting near the moon. I can also see it, all this is so familiar to me. —Scott said not sure if what he was saying was true , but sure of what he felt.
—Go forward in time, just a little and tell me, what is happening?
—He asks me to go back to bed again and brings his hand to my forehead, I start to say goodbye. Everything turns black, I feel dizzy again. I see that I am waking up and I am sweaty in my bed, Sarah is next to me, I can see the time on the clock, it is 3:00 am, everything seems to be normal, I feel very tired so I go back to sleep…
—Move further in time at the time of your accident.
—I am driving to work and in the rearview mirror, I see a van rapidly approaching me. I move aside to let it pass, I'm not in a hurry, but as soon as the van passes, it stops abruptly. Five people get out of the truck, they are dressed in black with a bulletproof vest. They have military weapons.
—What is it that they want?
—They want to know what happened last night, they know they took me and they want me to give them information.
—Describe to me what are you doing.
—They ask me questions pointing a gun at me, but I don't understand what they are talking about. —Scott does not understand how he wasn’t able to remember any of this, it is something that one simply does not forget. —They're injecting something behind my ear and asking me questions. I begin to answer everything they want to know. It's involuntary, but I am drugged with some kind of serum.r />
—What did you tell them?
—I told them Charlie took me to an Alliance ship. He told me that we had to end the influence that Reptilians exert on humanity. It is time for humanity to be awake. And he needs my help to finish the plan that we left unfinished.
—What happens next?
—They give me another injection and I pass out. I woke up driving on the highway, but I cannot react, I saw the boy on the sidewalk, but my legs were not responding and I ran over him. I ran over the boy. —Scott started crying.
—You will slowly move away from the frame by floating 1;
The frame begins to fade 2;
You float away towards the light 3;
You can see the stairs 4;
You stop floating and use your legs to climb the stairs 5;
Climb the stairs to a lighter area 6;
You go out of the stairs to the garden 7;
You walk over the garden to the safe space where we started 8;
You can feel your body 9;
You have returned 10;
Ok. You can slowly open your eyes and sit down. —The hypnotist looked confused and put his hand to his chin as Scott settled down and wiped away his tears.
—Wow. — Said the hypnotist. —I have received many patients, but I have never heard a story like this.
—Sorry. I have to go; how much do I owe you for the session?
—It’s a hundred dollars, but I'd like us to talk about…—Scott got up and left the small and uncomfortable room, left a hundred-dollar bill on the reception bar and left the place in a hurry.
Scott felt chills all over his body and it wasn't because of the freezing New York night wind, so he headed to the parking lot and got into his Mazda to go straight home and talk to Sarah, this time he wouldn't lie to her.
—Hello, I'm home. —He said before hugging her and kissing her on the head.
—Hi. How did your day go? —Sarah asked while sitting working on her computer choosing some color patterns for the design of a loft in the center. Some client was doing a remodel and looking to give it a modern, elegant and opulent touch, like the apartments in Tribecca.
—All right. I went with a hypnotist. —Sarah made a disapproving gesture and immediately turned to Scott looking to hear that it was nothing but a joke. — He regressed me and I can remember what happened before the accident.
Sarah remembered Scott's car accident months ago.
The accident
One day after work Scott was on his way home to go get Sarah, they had agreed to go with some friends to have dinner in the city center to catch up. Weeks had passed without being able to go out in a group. Megan and Frank were their best friends and always dated as a group, at least once a month.
While driving home, he crashed with a containment bar and was rushed to the hospital with a pair of broken ribs, lacerations from broken glass on the front of his body and some bruises in his head.
Police found Scott unconscious inside the crashed car. He had the cell phone in his hand, it seemed that he was talking at the time of the accident. The police took the cell phone and dialed the number that appeared in the emergency contacts. Sarah was his only emergency contact in the directory, this was corroborated by the information on the driver's license.
They informed her that she needed to go to the Sunset Terrace Family Health Center near Sunset Park since Scott had been transferred there ten minutes ago.
Her house was located at 249 45th Street in Sunset Park, New York, so it only took her about twenty minutes to get there, after ordering a taxi and taking a jacket, the taxi took twelve minutes to arrive and the drive lasted only eight minutes. It was very close to the place.
As soon as she arrived she asked for him at the reception and they indicated the room to which she should go.
Scott was lying on a mobile bed while a nurse was cleaning some minor lacerations on his arms.
He was very disoriented and just stared blankly at the ceiling. Sarah hurried to Scott's bed and with tears in her eyes said:
— I'm already here. — Scott did not answer just sat and nodded.
The nurse asked Sarah to fill out the form with his insurance details. Scott had been stabilized by paramedics at the crash site. Doctors would do a computed tomography scan to assess the level of severity of the bruises. He had to stay a couple of days for observation. So Sarah went home for a couple of clean clothes and stayed with him that night in the hospital.
Sarah was reading a book while Scott slept, when he suddenly began to complain about the pain and woke up.
—Ah! —he complained as he woke up and tried to get comfortable —my chest hurts.
—Don’t move, —she said as she put her hand gently on his shoulder —you have two broken ribs, you had an accident.
—How is the kid? — Scott asked with tears in his eyes. —Is he alive?
—What kid Scott? You were alone when they found you.
—I ran over a young boy with his skateboard, he was just a boy and I ran him over. —Said Scott starting to cry.
Sarah didn’t understand what boy Scott was talking about, so she explained to him that there was no one else at the scene of the accident and the police did not mention anything about any teenagers. She was about to tell Scott this again, when a nurse came into the room to put more painkillers in his intravenous. And she asked Scott to rest, who closed his eyes and slowly fell asleep.
—Excuse me. Do you know if they brought some boy along with my husband?
—No, I’m sorry. I only attend patients in this area of the hospital, but you can ask at reception.
—Thank you. I'll go ask.
Sarah went to the reception and asked the receptionist the same thing.
—No. —She answered sharply, it was obvious that she had a lot of work and wanted to move forward with her paperwork. —The police called us to find out if we could receive your husband, they did not mention anyone else and the ambulance only arrived with him. Did your husband mention something to you?
—No, apparently he is rambling. He just says strange things. It reassures me to know that there was no one else. Thank you.

That's what Sarah remembered about the accident, and she knew what Scott was referring to when he said, he finally remembered the accident, only it seemed too much to take this episode of his life with a hypnotist.
—I remembered the boy I ran over. — Scott sounded freed.
—Scott, we've already talked about it, you know there was no boy, we already asked enough. —Sarah could not believe what she heard, she thought that they had already overcome that stage of post-traumatic stress and with the tension of being pregnant it was not the best time to have to deal with it.
—I know. But today I could see his face. He was not a boy. I didn't run him over. It was Charlie.
—Charlie? ... Who is Charlie? ... —Sarah asked with more fear than ever waiting for an answer that she knew she would not like.
—The entity that visits me in dreams and takes me to see other worlds. He is Charlie. I think he wanted to tell me something. And I don't know how to explain it to you, but the anxiety, fear and chaos in my mind vanished. It is like having been living with a haze that clouded my mind and I was only existing by inertia. Now I feel like I'm me again. I'm sure I didn't run over him, he was just in my mind as an induced memory, but now he's gone.
—Scott. I need you more than ever, we will have a baby and we have not talked about it. We haven't even thought of a name. And it is very strange that I wanted to have a family more than anything in the world, but knowing that we did not conceive it together makes everything very strange. It terrifies me to think that I don't want it, even though it is my deepest desire. Am I wrong for thinking that?
—None of this is normal, but together we can face it. Do
not worry about the name, if he is a boy he will be called Scott, if she is a girl, she will be called Sarah. See? It is not that complicated.
They both laughed and hugged each other. Scott thought that he shouldn't think about the subject any further. He did not want to lie to her anymore and he had not, but the best thing would be not to tell her more about the matter, because he could see that these subjects distressed her.
At night they both went to bed together and hugged each other while looking at each other, they finally felt that they were back to being the couple they had been before.
Soon the caresses gave way to passion and inevitably they made love. With their bodies tuned in harmony, they felt. Overwhelmed with happiness. Sarah experienced a comforting reassurance and security as Scott experienced a sense of absolute freedom in his being.
All that accumulated stress was gone for some reason for both of them. Knowing that they were together after all the unexpected events of the past months, it gave them some hope to get on with their lives.
Time slowly passed talking about unimportant things for almost two hours. Unwittingly feeling the spark of passion in them again, they were grateful that it was that way.
It didn't take long for tiredness to overcome them and holding each other as they were, they fell into a deep sleep.
Charlie
At 3:00 am Scott woke up to see Sarah floating next to him with one hand extended to him to take it. Everything was moving very slowly and Sarah had a tear running down her cheek at normal speed. It was a creepy scene. Sarah's fear could be seen in her gaze.
Scott felt chills and turned his face towards the blinding source of light.
He could hear a chilling noise, this sound originated right in the middle of the hippocampus, it started as a small humming sound until it became a deafening vibration. And after a few seconds everything stopped and he couldn't see anything anymore, everything was dark.
Scott opened his eyes and next to him Sarah was asleep on the bed in the same room Scott had been with Charlie before. It was extremely strange.
